Let me start off by saying that this website was not created with the intention of being used as a blog. But if it has the capacity to do so, then why not, right?
I’m struggling today. As I sit here on my couch writing this post with my kids running around and screaming like banshee’s, I’m finding it really hard not to feel sad or even upset with the current situation at hand, namely being X-394. As some of you may have seen, I had to pull it from pre-order earlier this week. It was not by any means an easy decision to make nor something to be taken lightly, considering the cancellation revoked my pre-order capabilities for A YEAR, but nonetheless, it had to be done. No, I’m not going to go into detail revolving around the issue because most of you are well aware of what’s been going on since late last year, but if you’re part of the few who are out of the loop, just know I’m doing everything in my power to protect my brand, and most importantly, my work. I know some of you don’t understand and were upset enough to unfollow me because of my decision, but I refuse to put out a duplicated and/or rushed manuscript. I also refuse to pull another book from publication. It was heartbreaking enough the first time around and I will not subject myself to that kind of pain again.
The point of this post is to reiterate the fact that Eden is still coming. While I don’t have a new release date to give you all at the moment, I can promise you with every fiber of my being that it will be very soon. I didn’t work this hard and pour my heart into this story to not see it come to fruition. I’m hoping to have something set in stone by next week at the latest, and as soon as I know even the tiniest detail, I’ll be posting an update.
In the meantime, though, I want to thank each and every one of you who have supported me throughout this journey, regardless of the obstacles I’ve had to overcome. It’s because of your encouraging words and the mass amounts of love you’ve shown me that I’ve continued to push forward. I’m not trying to be sappy and overly emotional, but I do want you to know I’m beyond appreciative and thankful for you all.
Until next time and with much love,
